BIOGRAPHY:
James began his career in radio – as a film critic at BBC Radio Kent and journalist at County Sound Radio – before joining London’s Heart 106.2 in 1998 as the news presenter and celebrity interviewer on Jono Coleman’s Breakfast Show. He joined UBC Media (Unique) in 2001 to run the production company’s syndicated radio programming and left in early 2004 to return to live broadcasting. He currently presents the weekday breakfast programme on LBC News 1152 – London’s all-news radio station.

As well as being a huge movie fan, James is passionate about poker. He took up the game 15 years ago, running a seven-card stud table at his school sixth form centre, and now plays on-line and (whenever possible) in Las Vegas. Over the last two years, he’s been able to combine his hobby and trade by becoming the face and voice of televised poker on a number of channels, including Challenge and Eurosport.

James is married to Heli, a Finnish-born TV journalist who consistently outplays him at cards.
