David presents mid mornings on Gold
David’s career began on Canadian radio. His international reputation was founded by making a transatlantic transition to Radio Luxembourg, whilst still a teenager.
Positions with a number of UK radio stations followed, including BBC Radio 1 and Independent Network Radio.
Prior to David’s move to Heart 106.2FM in May 1998, he hosted the Drivetime slot on London’s Capital Radio from 1984 - 1998.
As a broadcaster he has presented various formats - ranging from classical and talk to chart - and won numerous accolades, including four Sony’s and awards from the TRIC, Variety magazine, Melody Maker, new Spotlight and the New York Radio Festival.
On Television
David hosted four series of "CHAMPIONS OF THE FUTURE", a junior Go-Karting series, sponsored by the McLaren F1 team for Sky Television.
He also presented "LUMBERJACK", a 6x30 minute programmes in Canada about the habits and history of the lumberjack for Channel 4.
David was the host of Sky's "AUCTION CHANNEL" for a year where he presented the preview programmes and live auctions.
David has presented and appeared on a wide variety of TV shows and series, from discussion programmes, through music to sport including:

His interest in sport has stood him in good stead and he has hosted a number of series and one-off programmes, including World Series Baseball (Sky Sports and Ch4), NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs (ITV), Champions of the Future (ITV), Run the Gauntlet (ITV) and motor racing for NBC, Sky Sports and Star TV. David has also recorded 130 thirty second World Cup Soccer Vignettes for world-wide distribution, while he continues to make his mark globally through the ongoing Gillette World Sports Special.
In the Press
David has written for a variety of publications over the past 20 years, with a weekly column appearing in the FAB 208, Record Music, Daily Star, Daily Mirror, The People and the Evening Standard's Wheels supplement. His articles have also appeared in such publications as The Daily Telegraph and Autosport magazine.
On his Feet
David’s career has marked him out as one of the best-known names in British broadcasting and as one of the industry’s most familiar faces. Thanks to his decade of experience, David is also an accomplished after-dinner speaker and stand-up presentations and fund-raising appearances are second nature to him.

Other Info
With four Sony Awards an Emmy nomination and numerous other accolades under his belt, David still finds time for outside interests, with motor racing at the top of the list. He also indulges his other great passion, Italian cuisine and is involved with ‘Renzo’, which has restaurants in both Hampton Court and Weybridge.
David is involved in sport at the highest level and was elected Vice-President of Crystal Palace Football Club in 1984.
Apart from being an avid ‘Eagles’ fan, David is also a self-confessed motor racing fanatic and launched a new motor racing team, Budweiser Kid Jensen Racing. He also unveiled one of the cars that participated in the 1998 Formula Opel European Union Series.
